Community Care Program

Today's Homes values being involved in the community in which it operates and on whose support it depends.

We aim to build strong partnerships with individuals and organisations that help create better lives for the people within our community, and who provide much needed services within our region.

The Today's Homes Community Care Program is committed to supporting local organisations in their work.

Today's Homes and it's clients are proud to be supporting our local community and have selected the following organisations for our 2013/14 Community Care Program:

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities - Australia
  • Boundless Canberra
  • SnowyHydro SouthCare

Each Today's Homes team member, and every client who chooses to build their new home with us, can nominate which one of these very worthy causes they would like to support this year.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia

Ronald McDonald House Charities is an independent charity. McDonald’s® Australia pays all of RMHC’s administrative costs which means we can guarantee that every cent donated goes directly to the programs we run. RMHC also relies on the generous financial help from the general public, community fundraisers, service clubs, schools and other corporate organisations to keep extending our programs so that we can meet the high demand. There are a number of ways that you can help ensure Ronald McDonald House Charities continues helping seriously ill children live happier, healthier lives.

You can help Australia's serious ill children by making a donation here:

Boundless Canberra

Boundless Canberra will be a place where children of all ages and abilities can play together, be challenged, socialise and have lots of fun. With support from the community and contributions from a lot of Canberrans we can make this state-of-the-art playground a reality.

To help build Canberra’s first all-abilities playground you can donate here:

Snowy Hydro SouthCare

"Snowy Hydro SouthCare is the primary aero-medical rescue helicopter for the ACT and Southern NSW. Since 1998, the helicopter has performed over 5,300 missions and averages two life-changing missions per day. The helicopter relies on community support from individuals, groups and businesses to help keep the service in the air saving lives" - Finance and Volunteer Manager, Snowy Hydro SouthCare

Other Fundraising and Community Support

In addition to our Community Care Program, our team at Today's Homes take part in other events and fundraising activities that support our local community such as the Bradley Allen Love - Sweatworking Challenge.

The Sweatworking Challenge is a fitness event where the winning team gets to nominate a charity to receive all of the funds raised for the event. Read more about this fantastic event:
